SignalHire and Leadscart agree on two things: you pay only when contact details come back, and neither charges per seat. They differ in what a monthly plan buys and where you use it.
SignalHire is built around a browser extension that reveals contacts on LinkedIn, GitHub, X and other profiles, and it returns personal as well as work emails. Recruiting teams use that heavily. See its pricing and homepage. Leadscart is a data tool for B2B outbound: search contacts, enrich a CSV, and reveal work emails in the app, over REST or through MCP.
Choose Leadscart if you mostly need work emails for a sales list and want more contacts for each monthly dollar. Keep SignalHire if its extension, personal emails or recruiting integrations do work you would otherwise have to replace.

A worked example: 1,000 successful work-email finds
Assume both tools return a work email for each of 1,000 known people. You use monthly billing and don't need phones. This measures billing rules, not hit rate.
| Monthly plan | Subscription price | Credits used | Credits remaining |
|---|---|---|---|
| Leadscart Starter | $29 | 1,000 | 1,000 |
| SignalHire Emails | $69 | 1,000 | 0 |
The named plan-price difference is $40 per month, and Leadscart still has 1,000 credits left. At full allowance use, the allocation-based prices are $0.0145 per Leadscart credit and $0.069 per SignalHire credit. Your actual cost per usable contact depends on what comes back and how much of the plan you use.
Leadscart Starter caps successful reveals at 500 per day, so 1,000 reveals need at least two daily allowance windows. Request limits also apply.
With phones enabled, Leadscart charges the same one credit per person whether an email, a phone or both come back. SignalHire's Emails & Phones plan gives 435 contacts for $69. Neither product guarantees a phone for every person, so don't budget every match as a mobile number.
SignalHire also sells plans marked Unlimited, from $79 a month for emails.1 If you need high volume, read their fair-use terms before comparing; this example is not a claim that Leadscart costs less than those plans.
Three reasons to consider Leadscart
1. More contacts for each monthly dollar
Leadscart Starter is $29 for 2,000 credits and Growth is $99 for 10,000. SignalHire's Emails plan is $69 for 1,000. If your work is a steady flow of B2B work emails, the monthly allowance goes further.
Compare whole-stack cost, not just the entry plan. If SignalHire's extension or integrations replace another paid tool, the higher price can still be the better purchase.
2. Free search before you spend
Search contacts by title, company, industry, headcount, country and technology, inspect the people, then spend credits only on the ones you want. Searching and exporting spend no credits, in the app and over REST or MCP. Daily reveal and export limits still apply.
SignalHire's MCP documentation says searches consume credits based on your plan.3 If an assistant runs many exploratory searches, that difference adds up.
3. One balance for the app, REST and MCP
Your app, automations and AI assistant draw from one credit pool on every plan, including Free. This is not an MCP exclusivity claim: SignalHire also provides official MCP on every plan, including its free tier.3
When SignalHire is the better choice
You work inside LinkedIn and other profiles. SignalHire's Chrome and Firefox extension reveals contacts on LinkedIn, GitHub, X, Facebook and Meetup.1 Leadscart has no extension; you search in the app or enrich a CSV.
You need personal emails. SignalHire returns personal as well as business emails.2 Recruiters reaching candidates often need exactly that. Leadscart returns work emails only.
You hire with an ATS. SignalHire integrates with recruiting tools such as Zoho Recruit, Recruitee, Ashby and Workable, plus CRMs like Salesforce and Pipedrive.2 Leadscart has no native CRM or ATS sync; you export a CSV.
You want outreach in the same assistant. SignalHire's MCP includes sequences, AI pitch writing and export to CRM or ATS.3 Leadscart finds contacts and leaves sending to your existing tool.
You need very high volume on one plan. The Unlimited plans may suit you better, subject to their fair-use terms.
What a Leadscart workflow looks like
Search contacts by supported filters, save the useful ones to a List, reveal emails, then export to your sender. An assistant follows the same pattern through people_search, List tools, email_find and list_export. The reveal tool takes up to 25 people or List lead IDs per call; a List is optional when you send people directly by LinkedIn URL or name and company domain.
To enrich an existing list, map LinkedIn URLs, or names plus a company domain, website or work email. A company name alone isn't enough. Leadscart shows the maximum spend before the job runs and skips rows it can't identify.
Leadscart doesn't run its own mailbox checks; the source supplies a verification date. A date is not a guarantee that an email will deliver later. You can report a bounce, and the address is cleared and suppressed, but no credit is refunded.

Before switching from SignalHire
- Separate your usage: work emails for sales, personal emails for candidates, phones, and in-profile capture.
- Check that your targets have LinkedIn URLs or names with a usable company domain.
- Test contacts from the industries and countries you actually target.
- Compare returned fields, credits, daily limits and the whole stack bill.
- Keep SignalHire for anything you still need, especially the extension or personal emails.

Test it on the people you're about to contact
Use a representative list with LinkedIn URLs or names and company domains. Check which people resolve, what fields come back, the verification dates, and whether the result fits your sender.
Eligible new accounts receive 25 free credits once, lasting 30 days, with no card. Searching and exporting spend no credits; misses with neither qualifying field are free.
