LeadMagic is more than an email finder. It offers work-email finding, standalone validation, mobile finding, profiles, company data, and other enrichment products through an API, CLI, and MCP.2
Leadscart is a focused alternative when your workflow mainly needs to search for people and reveal their contact details. Growth includes 10,000 credits for $99 per month. LeadMagic Essential lists 5,000 credits for $99 per month, with different rates across its endpoints.1
The useful comparison is not “which one has MCP?” Both do. It is which inputs, endpoints, and returned fields your workflow needs. If you also use LeadMagic for address validation, company data, or job changes, Leadscart is not a complete replacement.

| Known-contact inputs | LinkedIn URL or name plus company domain | Email Finder: name/company; other inputs use different products |
| Phone unit | Email and available phone included in one person credit | Mobile Finder: five credits per valid mobile |
| Standalone validation | Not an arbitrary-address validation service | 0.25 credits for a definitive valid/invalid check; unknown is free |

LeadMagic's rates and plan details are from pricing, with input and charging conditions in its API introduction. Leadscart's rules are on pricing and in the API/MCP docs.
Account-level Leadscart pricing is not a promise of equivalent team features. LeadMagic Essential includes three seats sharing the allowance. Its higher plans change credits, seats, and limits together.1
A worked example: 5,000 successful email finds
Assume the same known people resolve successfully. You have supported name/company inputs for LeadMagic's Email Finder and names with company domains for Leadscart. You use monthly billing, no paid discovery, no separate validation, and no mobile calls.
| Monthly plan | Subscription price | Credits used | Credits remaining |
|---|---|---|---|
| Leadscart Growth | $99 | 5,000 | 5,000 |
| LeadMagic Essential | $99 | 5,000 | 0 |
At full allowance use, the allocation-based prices are $0.0099 per Leadscart credit and $0.0198 per LeadMagic Essential credit. These are not measured costs per deliverable email. The example assumes successful returns, supported inputs, and no additional billable steps.
The input qualification matters. If your list only contains a profile URL, LeadMagic's separately priced profile-to-email product is not the one-credit name/company Email Finder.1 Leadscart also supports name/domain lookup, so LinkedIn URLs are not mandatory when those fields are available. A bare company name is not enough for its name/domain strategy. Neither missing-input resolution nor a separately priced endpoint is silently included in the comparison.
Leadscart Growth caps successful reveals at 2,000 per day, so 5,000 successes need at least three daily allowance windows. Request and batch limits also apply.
A separate example: email and mobile for 100 people
Assume both providers return a valid work email and a mobile for the same 100 known people. You already have the required inputs and make no discovery or extra verification requests.
| Task | Calculation | Credits used |
|---|---|---|
| Leadscart person reveals | 100 × 1 | 100 |
| LeadMagic Email Finder plus Mobile Finder | 100 × (1 + 5) | 600 |
LeadMagic lists those as separate successful-result charges.1 This is not a claim that it always charges six credits: an email-only request is a different task, and a missing result is free under its documented finder rules.
Nor does a six-to-one credit ratio establish six times lower dollar cost. Plan pricing and credit values differ. Leadscart can return a mobile, direct dial, or company line, or no phone. This example specifically assumes a mobile on both sides; it is not a mobile-coverage promise.
Three reasons to consider Leadscart
1. Your required endpoint is a person reveal
Leadscart's reveal unit stays one credit when either qualifying contact field comes back, with both included when available. That can fit a workflow that needs contact details for selected people rather than a catalog of data products.
A phone-only result is still a paid reveal. Neither a verified email nor a phone returned means no charge. The email verification date comes from the source, not an independent fresh mailbox check run by Leadscart.
2. You want search outside the credit budget
Leadscart search and export spend no credits. That keeps assistant-led discovery separate from the reveal balance, while request limits, pagination, and daily export caps still apply.
LeadMagic also has credit-free in-app search. Its lower paid Search API lanes cost one credit per request; Professional and Ultimate offer unmetered search-credit pricing with rate and daily caps.1 “Unmetered” does not mean unrestricted requests or exports.
Compare the surface you actually use. Free website search does not establish the cost of a server-side job, and a higher plan may change that calculation.
3. You can test the focused workflow on Free
Leadscart includes REST and MCP with its one-time 25-credit free grant. Test whether search, Lists, reveals, and exports cover the task before paying for monthly volume.
LeadMagic also includes MCP in its self-serve plans. Its REST uses an API key, while its hosted MCP and CLI use OAuth and the same account balance.2 Authentication is an implementation difference, not evidence that either connection is universally easier or safer.
When LeadMagic is the better choice
You need to validate addresses you already have. Its standalone Email Validation costs 0.25 credits for a definitive valid or invalid result; unknown is free. For 1,000 definitive checks, that is 250 LeadMagic credits.2 Leadscart has no matching arbitrary-address validation product to price against it.
You already rely on its profile/company products. Choose the specific endpoints that match the data and outputs you need. Name/company-domain person lookup alone does not distinguish the products, because Leadscart supports that strategy too.
Your agent needs more than contact details. Company enrichment, profiles, jobs, role finding, and job-change detection are separate capabilities.2 A contact-reveal subscription does not automatically replace them.
You value rollover. Monthly LeadMagic credits may be banked up to two months of the plan's included allocation. Annual allocations refresh yearly instead.1 Leadscart paid credits do not roll over.
Your current integrations already work. LeadMagic advertises integrations with tools such as Clay and other outbound platforms.2 Changing a provider can require field mapping, error handling, and handoff work even if the new credit unit looks better.
What a Leadscart workflow looks like
Search for target contacts, inspect candidates, save useful people to a List, reveal the contact details, and export them. For an existing CSV, include LinkedIn URLs or names plus company domains and inspect the maximum spend before starting. A website or work email can supply the domain.
An assistant can use people_search, List tools, email_find, credits_balance, and list_export. email_find accepts up to 25 people or existing List lead IDs in total per call; direct LinkedIn or name/domain inputs do not need a List first. A larger allowance does not remove batch sizes or daily limits.
You can call REST from an existing automation or use MCP from a compatible assistant. This does not imply a native Leadscart Clay connector or a prebuilt CRM sync. Consult the API/MCP docs and check your own integration setup.
Before switching:
- Inventory each LeadMagic endpoint your workflow calls.
- Identify which calls are search, finding, validation, mobile, or company/profile data.
- Confirm the input fields Leadscart needs.
- Compare credits for the same requested outputs, plus any extra resolution/discovery steps.
- Test the handoff and keep LeadMagic endpoints that Leadscart does not replace.

Test the reveal step, not the whole stack at once
Choose a representative set with supported LinkedIn or name/domain inputs. Compare usable contact fields, verification dates, phone types, credits charged, and the downstream export.
Eligible new accounts receive 25 free credits once, with no card, expiring in 30 days. Keep the validation, company-data, or other endpoints you still need until a replacement is proven.
