Lusha prices contact data per field: an email costs one credit and a phone costs five. If you mostly need work emails, or you keep running out of credits on phones, you may be looking for a Lusha alternative with a lower monthly bill. Leadscart offers contact search, CSV enrichment, and email/phone reveals priced per person.
Lusha is also more than a lookup tool. It has a popular browser extension, buying signals, lookalikes, CRM integrations, and credits that roll over on monthly paid plans. See its pricing and credit rules.
Choose Leadscart if you want a lower monthly starting outlay and one unit per person. Keep Lusha if its extension, signals, rollover, or CRM workflow do work you would otherwise have to replace.

A worked example: 600 successful email finds a month
Assume both tools return a work email for each of 600 known target people in a month. You use monthly subscriptions, need emails only, and make no paid exports or bulk API calls. Six hundred is Lusha Pro's full monthly allowance.
| Monthly plan | Subscription price | Credits used | Credits remaining |
|---|---|---|---|
| Leadscart Starter | $29 | 600 | 1,400 |
| Lusha Pro | $69.90 | 600 | 0 |
The named plan-price difference is $40.90 per month. At full allowance use, the allocation-based prices are $0.0145 per Leadscart credit and $0.1165 per Lusha credit. Actual cost per usable contact depends on the returned data and how much of your subscription you use.
Leadscart Starter caps successful reveals at 500 per day, so 600 reveals need at least two daily allowance windows. Request limits also apply.
Lusha's unused monthly Pro credits roll over, up to twice the allowance.3 Leadscart's do not. If your usage swings from month to month, count that before comparing.
With phones enabled, the gap widens on lists where you need numbers. Revealing an email and a phone on Lusha costs up to six credits per person, so 100 such people can use Pro's whole month.2 On Leadscart both fields come in the same one credit. Phones are not guaranteed on either tool.
Three reasons to consider Leadscart
1. You mostly need emails, and the bill matters
Leadscart's Starter plan is $29 a month for 2,000 credits; Lusha's paid plans start at $49.90 for 400. If your main job is finding work emails for people you already plan to contact, the extra platform features may not be what you are paying for.
Compare your actual stack. If Lusha's extension or CRM sync saves your team real time, its higher price per credit can still be the better purchase.
2. You want one reveal unit for email and phone
When Leadscart finds both fields for a person, they cost the same one credit as a qualifying single-field result. A phone-only result still costs one credit. No verified email and no phone means no charge.
Phones are not guaranteed and may be a mobile, direct dial, or company line. Do not budget every email match as a mobile match. Check do-not-call rules before using a returned number.
3. You want to review people before unlocking details
Search contacts by supported filters, inspect the people, save the useful ones, then spend credits on reveals. Searching and exporting do not consume Leadscart credits. Daily export/reveal limits and request limits still apply.
REST and MCP use that same credit pool, so your app, automation, and AI assistant work against one balance. It is not an MCP exclusivity claim: Lusha's MCP server also works on every plan, including Free.4
When Lusha is the better choice
You prospect from LinkedIn in the browser. Lusha's extension is included from Free. Leadscart has no browser extension.
You want signals and lookalikes. Lusha's platform and MCP server expose buying signals and lookalike search alongside contact data.4 This comparison does not cover anything equivalent in Leadscart.
Your usage is uneven. Monthly Pro and Premium credits roll over up to twice the allowance, and the Free plan refills 40 credits every month.3 Leadscart's credits expire with the month, and its 25 free credits are granted once.
You need CRM sync or team credit controls. Lusha includes CRM integrations from Free, and its Premium and Scale plans let admins share one pool or set per-user limits.3 Leadscart has no native CRM sync; you export CSV or use the API.
Lusha's own docs say some actions have their own costs, such as CSV export at one credit per 25 rows and a minimum of one credit per API request.2 Count those if they are part of your task.
What a Leadscart enrichment workflow looks like
Suppose your target list contains LinkedIn URLs or names plus company domains. Map those CSV columns; a website or work email can also supply the domain. A company name alone is not sufficient for the name/domain strategy. Before the job runs, Leadscart shows the maximum one-credit-per-row spend. Unidentifiable rows are skipped.
Inspect the returned details and source verification dates, then export the result and join it back to your sending workflow or CRM. A verification date does not guarantee an email will deliver later.
For contacts found inside Leadscart, search → save to a List → reveal → export. An assistant uses the same pattern through people_search, List tools, email_find, and list_export. The reveal tool handles up to 25 people or existing List lead IDs in total per call. See the REST and MCP docs for the actual tool inputs.
Before switching from Lusha
- Split your last few months of Lusha credits into emails, phones, exports, and API calls.
- Check how many unused credits you carry over, and whether you would lose them.
- Test contacts from the industries and countries you really target.
- Compare usable returned fields, credits, daily limits, and the whole stack bill.
- Keep the Lusha features you still rely on, especially the extension or CRM sync, rather than assuming one data tool replaces them.
Comparing more than two tools? The Apollo alternatives guide separates data tools from outreach bundles, and the Hunter comparison covers a domain-centred email finder.
Try the contacts you already plan to contact
Use a representative set with supported LinkedIn or name/domain inputs. Check which people resolve, what fields come back, the verification dates, and whether the result fits your workflow.
Eligible new accounts receive 25 free credits once, lasting 30 days, with no card. Searching and exporting spend no credits; misses with neither qualifying field are free.
